Hi. I’m Ray Grieselhuber and I’m the founder of Firewatching Media, a full-service interactive agency and web development firm. We focus on building services on the web that help businesses and their customers connect more effectively.
I love to travel, write and build companies.
Before I started Firewatching Media, I served as the Director of Product Development at Covario (formerly SEMDirector, Inc), an incredibly successful startup that serves the best (Fortune 500) clients (Adobe, Cisco, Intel, P&G and HP, to name a few) you can imagine. Covario was funded by Voyager Capital and Dubilier & Company. I learned a ton about startups, venture capital, patent development, how to build large teams and how to approach product strategy. I figured the best way to keep learning was to start my own thing, so here I am.
I moved to Japan in February of 2008. My company is focused on the needs of Fortune 500 companies with a growing presence in Asia and who have a need for an agency that understands how to put best-of-breed technology solutions to work in order to automate, promote and grow interactive marketing campaigns. We also have an active lab where we work on our other passion, product development. Our most popular service is Gridjit, a social portal.
I have a BA in Japanese from THE Ohio State University and a BS in Computer Science from Franklin University. I speak Japanese and am getting the feeling that learning Chinese next would be a really good idea.
Many latest travel pictures (including pictures from my trip around the world in 2005) can be found at firewatching.com.
Disclaimer: My opinions are solely my own and do not reflect the opinions / attitudes of anyone else, including those of my clients and other business partners.

Hey Ray, just going through blog rolls and realized I hadn’t been to yours in quite a while, you moved!
It was time for a change so Heather and I packed up and moved to Boulder Colorado. The weather is better here than in Columbus, it’s prettier and there is more stuff to do outside.
The firm you are working for looks to have interesting products and a good business idea. I’m in the process of beginning a job search. If you guys have a presence in Colorado and need someone with my background I’d appreciate it if you’d keep me in mind and or shoot me an email.
Hope all is well on your end.
